Integrating Library Resources into Canvas

1. From the library's home page at https://libguides.tcc.edu/LibraryPage, click on Databases underneath the search box.

2. When the Database menu appears, click on the letter of the alphabet the database name begins with or browse databases by subject.

3. Right-click on the database link you are interested in adding to your Bb course. When a browser menu appears:

• Google Chrome browser: Left-click on Copy link address
• Firefox browser: Left-click on Copy Link Location
• IE Explorer browser: Left-click on Copy Shortcut

2. Paste the URL into your Canvas course. The URLs from the database links provided on the library's web site include the proxy server URL prefix so that you and students can access these databases from off-campus.

Important Note:  DO NOT copy and paste any URLs from your browser address bar when you are on a database web site. These database URLs do not include the proxy server URL prefix.
