Changes in Library Services and Expectations for Library Users during the Pandemic



  • The libraries are open to TCC students, faculty, and staff with a limited number of computers and study spaces.
  • See the library website for hours of operation 
  • The VAC Library is closed until further notice.


You don’t have to come in to the library to get research assistance or find information resources!

  • Face coverings and TCC IDs are required to enter the libraries.
  • You are required to wear a face covering whenever you're in a TCC building. See the Student Code of Conduct and the Campus Information for Fall 2020 for more information.  
  • You will be asked to sign in upon entry to any TCC facilities.

  • Sanitizing stations are available at entrances and in the computer labs.
  • Sanitizing wipes are available upon request.
  • Seating in computer labs and study areas is configured to ensure social distancing.
  • Staff will provide assistance through Plexiglass shields, at a safe physical distance, and using chat.
  • Headphones and other short-term equipment loans will not be available.


  • The book stacks are closed, but staff will retrieve materials for you to check out at the self-check stations. Place a hold on the title you would like, and you will be sent an email notification when it is available for pick up at the campus you selected. You may also see staff for assistance in the library.
  • Book and DVD returns are quarantined for at least 72 hours before being available for check out.
  • Course reserves are wiped with disinfectant upon return.
