Library Technology: 

The Chesapeake Campus Library has 10 computers available for use by current TCC students, faculty & staff, VTC Members, and VIVA members.

• Students, faculty and staff may log-in using their TCC-issued student or faculty/staff ID. (The TCC ID is your library card, as well as printing card.)
• Students have 100 free prints pre-loaded to their Student IDs each semester. These prints do not carry over, but reset at the beginning of each semester. If free prints are used, a student may purchase additional prints for 0.05 cents a page at any StormPort  (cash only).
• To maintain an academic environment with limited distractions, headsets/headphones are required to listen to audio/video and attend Zoom instruction sessions.

• Standard size 8 1/2 X 11 black and white printing is available. 

• Flash/Thumb  drives are highly encouraged.

• *Please be advised that computers automatically shutdown 10 minutes before building closure.

Residents of Virginia Beach and any current Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) full-service cardholder can use their VBPL card to check out 15 TCC items and/or gain access to designated computer(s) for two hour a day.  Residents elsewhere in Virginia may apply for a Community Card. 

• Two computers are available for use by community/Virginia Beach public library cardholders.
• Printing for community patrons/Virginia Beach public library cardholders requires a one-time purchase of a Total Convenience Card ($1 bill only) and adding at least $1.00 (1$ or 5$ bills only), then printing is 0.05 cents a page.

The library also has a coin-operated copy machine, scanner (bring your flash drive!), and Storm Port.
