Tidewater Community Colleges Libraries consist of the following collections:
- Circulating Collection: books and DVDs may be checked out
- Reference Collection: materials may be used in the library
- Audio-visual Collection: DVDs and CDs may be checked out
- Reserves: ask at the circulation desk for textbooks and class materials placed on reserve by a faculty member
- Periodicals: may be used in the library
- Career Collections: books and other materials related to career preparation and success
- Testing Collection: books and other study materials for credentialing exams
The normal loan period for circulating print materials is four weeks. The normal loan period for audiovisual materials is one week. Materials that have been placed on course reserve, however, may have a shorter loan period.
