TCC Data Dashboards

Tidewater Community College Libraries provide invaluable services, resources, and facilities to support the academic needs of students, faculty, staff, and the communities we serve. Although the impact of our operations cannot be measure in terms of our patrons' curricular, professional, and personal lives, we can document the ways our work reaches our constituents:

  • customized library instruction for a variety of disciplines to support the research needs for specific assignments and to support the information literacy components of the general education competencies
  • reference and research assistance provided by qualified professionals and classified staff in person, over the phone, via email, and 24/7 chat
  • online research guides available to students on and off-campus to support their research needs wherever and whenever they are
  • a library management system, Alma, that manages the physical collections and patron account information
  • numerous databases with full-text access to thousands of publications, including journals, magazines, newspaper, professional trade publications, e-books, and streaming media, covering every field of study to support the diverse programs offered at the College
  • print publications and physical media curated to meet the needs of each campus, Pathway, and program
  • physical facilities that provide safe, comfortable, and flexible spaces to support a variety of activities on each campus, including quiet study, collaboration, instruction, relaxation, and programming
  • access to technology, including computers, scanners, printers, photocopiers, webcams, earbuds, and more!
  • ACRL report statistics: student FTE, headcounts, f/t, p/t
