Remember those keywords you generated in step 2? It's time to use those. Enter those search terms in the search box above.

This search box will search our book collection and some of our collections of academic journal articles. For now, let's focus on finding books.

  1. Look to the right-hand side of your results page, and select the option that says "Books" under "Resource Type." This will narrow your results to books.
  2. You can also limit to a specific campus just below where it says "Library."

Once you've found a book that seems relevant, click on it for more information.

The catalog will tell you:

  1. if the book is available
  2. which campus has a copy, and where to find it.
  3. To find a book on the shelf, look for its call number (example: BF697.5.B63 B615 2013). Books on similar topics will have similar call numbers, so be sure to check the shelves around it for other helpful books.
  4. Find a great book, but it's not available at your campus? Just use the "Request" button and we'll send it to you.
