Text Formatting

Your instructor may indicate a preferred or required font.  If not, always choose an easily readable text of either 11 or 12 pt font.  Be consistent, and use the same font throughout your paper.  

Title page

Your title page should include, in this order: Your name and the page number on the top right-hand corner; your name, the professor's name, the class name, and the date in the left-hand side; the title of your paper, centered at the top.

Placement of the Works Cited page

The Works Cited page, always goes at the end of the paper.  The phrase Works Cited (or Work Cited if you only have one citation) is centered, one inch from the top, and it is never underlined.
