Integrating Library Resources into Canvas

Embedding Library Resources using the Rich Content Editor

• In a Canvas course create a page or go to an existing one •

• Select edit to open the rich content editor •

• Select the more external tools icon. It will look like a blue V

• This will bring up a list of media websites and library resources

• Select a resource from list

• A search box will popup

• The search box will look different for different resources
• Search by title or subject
• A list of results will come up. 
• Each result should have an embed button, the button may have a pull down menu to choose the size for a video
• Select embed to embed the media or article in the Canvas page
